Dermal fibroblasts as biomarkers of patient-specific cancer risk.

Increased anabolic activity is a common denominator in cancers that are genetically and mechanistically distinct.

Increased metabolic activity is also a consequence of TP53 mutations that associate with cancer risk in LFS.

Dermal fibroblasts (not CAFs) from LFS patients are marked by distinct metabolic fingerprints.

we use high content microscopy to collect multivariate metabolic readouts on patient dermal fibroblasts

 Our Innovation

We will generate cell painting correlates of cancer risk

Our Impact

We will test whether these correlates predict patient specific drug response in clinical trial
